Integrity

At the end of the day, all we have left is our word.  We understand our role, our ethical obligations and we stand by our values.  We effort to always keep our word and admit when sometimes, we can’t.  We live our lives with integrity because it gives us the real freedom of never having to hide.

When the District campaigned for the Bond Referendum, a promise was made to many Montclairions that if the Referendum passed causing an increase to taxes, the District would only ask for the 2% tax levy increase the following year to soften the impact.  When budget season came around there was pressure from many angles to go back on this promise.  One of the truest tests of integrity is the blunt refusal to be compromised.  Despite this pressure, we understood the importance of the promises made.  We stood by our word because it means something.  This is just one example of the integrity that Dunn Deysher and Silverstein stand for.

We don’t buy into the political games.  We are three busy moms who love our community and who will always follow our ethical mandates even when it’s not popular.  We lead by example.  We always try our best to balance it all.  And we don’t do it for any reason other than because it is right.  As Oprah Winfrey once said, “[r]eal integrity is doing the right thing, knowing that nobody is going to know whether you did it or not.”  We understand our role and our commitment to Montclair.  Integrity is the essence of everything successful.  This election, vote for integrity for Montclair Board of Education. Vote Dunn, Deysher and Silverstein.
